THE GHOST

Picture
Chapter 9 Schools and Secret Societies Subsection Excerpt 5

Few is actually known on Ghosts. While it is implied that they have some kind of social belonging, they are known to be extreme loners and rarely have two been spotted near one another. The few ones employed by both factions government are kept, for the most part, secret.

Ghosts are similar to Assassins in the way that they are playing the stealth game. But while the latter make it their job, Ghosts make never being sensed their whole way of life. To do so they employ a few gadgets, the wrist computer being the most known part of their equipment. Their biggest power comes from the fact they are able to generate a force field around them, rendering them almost invisible to the untrained eye.

They are masters of diversion and ,more often than not, the victim will be busy defending a completely unrelated point while the Ghost simply walks in where it needs to be. Their limited psionic powers seem to also be useful for playing tricks on their opponents. They have a certain affinity for mental confusion and mind reading, which makes them highly valuable assets in high profile missions.

Since Ghosts need some kind of psionic power, it is hypothesised that they are mainly comprised of humans, elves, ethereals, mutants and very few cyborgs. The rest of their ‘’society’’ is unknown.
